Morong vendors get Nego-Karts

Ten Morong ambulant vendors were each given a Nego-Kart from the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE). The assistance to Morong small entrepreneurs is through the initiative of Mayor Cynthia Linao-Estanislao and the Sangguniang Bayan headed by Vice Mayor Leila Linao-Munoz.

The distribution of Nego-Karts is a program of the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) under the special fund of Sen. JV Ejercito. DOLE said Nego-Kart is intended to provide decent livelihood mainly for marginal workers in the country’s informal sector specifically the ambulant workers in the country.

Aside from the two top officials of Morong, the distribution on Friday was also personally attended by DOLE Assistant Regional Director Alejandro Inza Cruz; DOLE Provincial Director Leilani Reynoso; Provincial PESO Manager Maria Eva Basalo; and Meck Bautista and Faiz De Leon from the Office of Sen. Ejercito. “Sa sama-samang pagtutulungan, maiaangat natin ang pamumuhay ng ating mga kababayan”, said the lady mayor. Estanislao with the support of the Sangguniang Bayan headed by Munoz is continuously initiating programs to improve the lives of Morong folks.
